What’s your wave (hustle)?:

I'm a creative. I don't really have one wave. Im one of the co-founders of What? Music and Arts Festival and love working on any projects that push me to create and get outside my comfort zone.

The first time I discovered my passion was......

Walking into a photography studio for the first time and seeing all the cameras, clothes and people working together to create. I knew that I wanted to be in that world and it didn't matter what the role was. I just dove in wherever I could help.

My biggest influence......

Pharrell. I’ve looked up to him since I was a kid and the more I learned about him the more I respected his flow. His versatility and ability to balance fashion, design, music, skating, and more. And he doesn’t half ass anything he has become a master at all he does. He influenced me to do more, to get my hands in multiple creative outlets and to strive to master them all.

What/who inspires you to do what you do?

Traveling has always been my first love and continues to inspire me by seeing the art, architecture, style and design from new places. The people I surround myself with are my biggest influence. Especially the What?Fest team.

Who do you hope to inspire?

I hope to inspire the creatives who feel like they have to fit a corporate mold. I hope to show people that you can create what you want.  I hope to inspire people to stop and learn from their friends. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to find a mentor in everyone and learn from all the waves around you.

What are you creating right now?

Lots of things. What Fest 2020 is already in full force. I’m about to start curating and hosting unique art events and exhibits in the city. I’m also still working with Hollister to help style for their upcoming collections. And I just finished working on a docuseries with Peyton Manning. I’m probably most excited about working on a charity 3 on 3 basketball tourney this fall. I’ve got my hands in a lot and stoked.

What do you have coming up down the road?

I’m working on creating a coworking/event space in Franklinton. My vision is to have a place where creatives from all different spheres can come to work, hangout, and learn from each other. Wanting to facilitate a place where we can have frequent art events with interactive installations and constantly changing the conversation surrounding Columbus art. A place where all my social circles can pull together to create together. And obviously I’m heavily working on What? Music and Arts Festival 2020! Being a co-founder of this event has created a fire in me that isn’t going out any time soon.

Where can we find/see/learn more about your work?

What message do you want to share to inspire others?

Be open to whatever comes next and always stay grateful. Gratitude is everything.
